Mad-Jarova : visionary and imaginary bronze statues

One often wonders where Mad-Jarova finds the inspiration for her works, so magical and yet real they seem.

None of the monumental statues she creates are based on prior models or photographs. They have gained in  popularity and sell both in France and Europe.

Mad-Jarova’s equestrian statues are very popular. They are animated with strength and grace. Her perfect knowledge of horses, their anatomy and movements gives these statues an incredibly lifelike quality. They have the same quality of imaginary realism that she usually displays in her visionary style.

The art of great artists such as Gaugin, Cézanne or Giacometti already belongs to the past, as does the art of the Masters of the eighteenth century. They reflect the materialistic times of the twentieth century. But we have now entered the third millennium and look to something new with more meaning.
